Attitude
Ok, lets get away from the negatives of claims for a bit and work on the
positive side of today’s world. Lets start with attitude and go from there
where ever this leads us, and I use the “US” because this column is about,
and for, “US”, I am always open to suggestions from our readers as to any
topic that you may want to highlight here.
Anyway,
“Attitude”…What is yours like today? You wake up and turn on the news and
what do you see, the market is awful, some more people got shot or killed,
there is a traffic tie up on I-64, I-40, I-70 or I-44, whichever one you
need and it is backed up to forever, what a day.
Alright,
now lets look at the most important part of the entire prior paragraph,
first and most important, YOU WOKE UP ! ! ! For
me, that is an absolute plus, now we have another
day, another opportunity to do something great for yourself, your family,
your customers, your friends. Some of the rest of that statement above you
can do something about, others you can’t control, so why let those things
ruin your day, get your attitude up and ready for the day.
Attitude
is a state of mind created by your outside influences, but, your mind is
the strongest influence in the world, make it work for you. I am one of
those Pollyanna type people who think I can do anything I want if I set my
mind to it, and have proven that to myself more than once. So can you. Just
think about how many times you have done just that and never gave it a
thought about how or why it got done.
Some
of your successes may be credited to luck, not so. Define luck as Labor
Under Correct Knowledge, so you work hard, follow your training and
instincts, and you get Lucky, not so my friends, you succeed through
knowledge, work and an attitude that you can not be beat by any outside
influences.
Yes
the market is not very good, however, it is a lot worse in other areas of
the country and we all are very good at what we do, know what we are doing,
and work hard, thereby creating our own luck.
